本增编涉及第29/2021号部长令的通知（1页，阿拉伯文）：
1-仅对于灯具，其给予生产商和进口商一年过渡期，从2021年2月3日开始，遵守埃及标准ES 7823/2020“电灯和灯具的能效要求”（38页，英文版）或直到其修订版本发布，以最接近的为准。
值得一提的是，先前于2020年6月4日在G/TBT/N/EGY/76/Add.2号文件中通知的第171/2020号部长令（2页，阿拉伯文），这使得生产商和进口商有六个月的过渡期来遵守埃及标准ES 7823/2020“电灯和灯具的能效要求”（38页，英文）。
2-仅对于灯具，其规定生产商和进口商将继续采用第7823/2014号埃及标准“电灯能效要求”（24页，英文），该标准已由第975/2014号部长令授权（2页，（阿拉伯文）之前于2015年3月9日以G/TBT/N/EGY/76号文件通知。
应注意的是：
-ES 7823/2020在技术上与第874/2012号委员会法规（EU）和第1194/2012号委员会法规（EU）的修改相同，
-ES 7823/2014与第1194/2012号欧洲指令（EU）和第874/2012号欧洲指令（EU）的修正案一致。
通过在官方公报上发布行政命令，制造商和进口商可随时了解埃及标准的任何修订。
建议通过日期：2021年1月13日。
拟议生效日期：2021年2月3日。

Products covered: Lamps in general (ICS 29.140.01)
This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No.29/2021 (1 page, in Arabic) that:
1- For luminaries only it gives the producers and importers one year transitional period starting from 3 February 2021, to abide by the Egyptian standard ES 7823/2020 "Energy efficiency requirements for electrical lamps and luminaries" (38 pages, in English) or until the issuance of its amendment version, whichever is nearest.
Worth mentioning is that the Ministerial Decree No.171/2020 (2 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/76/Add.2 dated 4 June 2020, that gives the producers and importers a six month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 7823/2020 for "Energy efficiency requirements for electrical lamps and luminaries" (38 pages, in English).
2- For lamps only it stipulates that the producers and importers will continue to apply the Egyptian Standard No. 7823/2014 "Energy efficiency requirements for electrical lamps" (24 pages, in English) which has been mandated by the ministerial decree No. 975/2014 (2 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/76 dated 9 March 2015.
It should be noted that:
-ES 7823/2020 is technically identical with modification with the commission regulation (EU) No. 874/2012 and the commission regulation (EU) No 1194/2012,
-ES 7823/2014 is harmonized with an amendments with European directive (EU) No. 1194/2012, (EU) No. 874/2012.
Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
Proposed date of adoption: 13 January 2021.
Proposed date of entry into force: 3 February 2021.
