CCCME Vice President met with First Secretary (Counselor level) of Indian Embassy in China

On August 5 2016, CCCME Vice President Shi Yonghong met with Bandaru Wilsonbabu, the new First Secretary of Indian (Counselor level) Embassy in Beijing.

 

VP Shi introduced that as the largest chamber of commerce of foreign trade in China, CCCME had over 10,000 members, including major Chinese machinery and electronic manufacturers. CCCME membership encompass those major Chinese companies who have business cooperation with India in such field as PV, electric power, telecommunication, infrastructure, etc.. Key CCCME members such as TBEA Co., Ltd. and Foton Motor Group all have their industrial parks in India. CCCME for a long time has been dedicated to promoting economic & trade cooperation and investment between China and India by participating in India’s infrastructure construction so as to gain reciprocal benefits.

 

Mr. Wilsonbabu said that he chose CCCME to pay his first official call to in the wake of taking office. He extended the wish to strengthen the cooperation with CCCME and deepen the cooperation between businesses of two countries with respect to the areas of common interests. He also promised to give feedback on the issues VP Shi mentioned about narrowing opportunities in thermal power equipment area faced by Chinese companies and excessively long process for working visa application.
