CCCME Successfully Hosts Michigan-China Business Match-making Forum in Detroit
To further promote Sino-US economic and trade cooperation under the framework of China Provinces and US Michigan Joint Working Group, CCCME Vice President Liu Chun led a trade delegation of over 110 business executives and governmental officials to Detroit and hosted Michigan-China Business Match-making Forum on May 11, 2017.
Such Chinese provinces as Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Hubei, Zhejiang and Guangdong etc. rendered adequate support by organizing local enterprises to participate in the forum. The forum boasted more than 350 attendees from agriculture, automobile, advanced manufacturing, E-commerce and other sectors. The Consul General of China to Chicago Hong Lei, the Governor of Michigan Rick Snyder, and CCCME Vice President Liu Chun attended the forum and delivered opening remarks respectively.
The summit is the biggest of its kind organized by the China Provinces - Michigan Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment Cooperation, a network established with China's Ministry of Commerce and five provinces during Michigan Governor Rick Snyder's 2015 trade mission to Beijing.
