CCCME Leads Trade and Investment Cooperation Promotion Delegation to the U.S.

  In order to strengthen economic and trade exchanges and enterprise cooperation between China and the United States within the framework of the China Provinces and US California Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as the working Group), under the great support rendered by the Economic and Commercial Office of the Consulate General of China in Los Angeles, on May 2-4, 2018, CCCME jointly worked with commercial administrations from Hebei, Shanghai, Chongqing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Inner Mongolia, Hubei, Zhejiang, and other provinces and municipalities, leading a delegation of over 120 Chinese executives and representatives of local business officials to Los Angeles and San Diego, California. During the visit, CCCME together with its US counterparts, launched a series of provincial and state cooperation activities. California Governor Jerry Brown, Chinese Consul General Zhang Pingin in Los Angeles, Minister Counselor Zhu Hong of Chinas embassy attended and addressed the event. Despite the great uncertainties facing the Sino-US trade situation, the Chinese representatives still actively participated in the events enthusiastically exchanged with the US side and reached a number of cooperative intentions, fully demonstrating that only cooperation between China and the United States can achieve win-win results. The related activities have strengthened the confidence of Chinese and American parties in provincial and state cooperation, and set up a broad exchange platform for sub-national cooperation between China and the United States, which has received positive feedback from all walks of life.
