JOYS663 Ultrasonic water meter is an ultrasonic flow sensor that measures the velocity of water.

Ultrasonic Water Meter is an ultrasonic flow sensor that measures the velocity of water by using the principle of ultrasound.All measurements, references, readings and calculations are controlled by a microprocessor in the calculator top. The accumulated water consumption is displayed with eight significant digits and measuring unit.

Ultrasonic water meters measure the difference of the transit time of ultrasonic pulses propagating in and against flow direction; The meter is available to be integrated in a wireless network, you can select radio, wireless M-bus and PLC.

COMMUNICATION

     Ultrasonic water meter includes data communication ports. The optical eye on the calculator front enables reading for consumption data and data logger as well as serial PC connection for configuration of the water meter. External communication units can be connected via plug-in modules. Ultrasonic water meter is available with communication modules for radio, M-bus, RS485 or RS232 and PLC etc.

LEAK SURVEILLANCE

     Ultrasonic water meter can monitor the water consumption. Possible running cisterns, leaky heating spirals of tap water tanks or other result in water flow being register from the water meter 24 hours a day.

PROGRAMMING

     Ultrasonic water meter can be ordered in combinations as required by the customer.

     The supplied meter is configured from the factory and ready for use ,but can also be changed/ reconfigured after installation. However, this does not apply to the meter’s legal parameters which cannot be changed unless the verification seal is broken. This requires that changes must be made in an accredited meter laboratory.

BATERRY

     In case of power cut off, the data is backed up automatically , thus preventing loss of consumption data. Furthermore, Ultrasonic water meter has a low internal consumption and up to 13 year’s battery lifespan. Together with the meter’s unique combination of pinpoint measuring accuracy and longevity this secures minimal yearly operating costs
