A considerable amount of condensate mixed with a certain percentage of oil is always generated from a complete compressed air system. Reference standards state that water drained into the sewers must not have more than 5 mg/l of oil content. The WATERSEP unit keeps the oil level within the values imposed by these standards and automatically separates the oil from the water. A decompression chamber separates the condensate from the compressed air, letting the air out. The condensate is run through a sedimentation tank, (easy to clean) and then through the coalescence filter. The oil that floats on the surface is conveyed into a container and the water is freed from the remaining oily residues through absorption, which takes place in the activated charcoal section. The water drained from the equipment is therefore clean and suitable to be drained into the sewers.
