Shanghai bbc motors and fans company ltd. started its motor business from 1964 ,a local government motor factory ,TW motors. TW motor factory specialized in metric motors. In 1980 TW motor factory was merged with ANW motor factory ,and from then on this new company was an important motor company in mainland china as it had very good engineers who graduated from Chinese brand university or came from local motor institutes .from 1964 to 1988 as leaded by the plan economy our business activities were guided by the government ,but at that time we did make very reliable motors in our serious working process . the main customers we supplied were Chinese main industrial factories all owned by governments . In 1990 three Chinese men from oversea joined ANW motors ,which all specialized in motor field for almost twenty years, and the company tended to become a joint venture .it begin to have its own business plan and sales .after five years later AMW motors extended their market to every corner of china and begin to export goods oversea .especially they completed the whole series of cast iron Nema motors in 1998 and got UL certificate .during the following years ,they were active to introduce oversea motor technology and exported IEC metric motor ,NEMA motors ,Explosion proof motor ,single phase motor and DC motor to east Asia, Africa ,middle east ,Europe , America , continually growing to meet the ever increasing needs of their customers. In 1995 during the development to a big firm they bought QL fans, AFF fans and Ningjing components . from then on ANW motors begin to make industrial fans ,blowers ,HVAC components . From 1995 to 2000 ANW got many supports from their customers and it could make all standard motors existed in market and a wide range of special motors for special applications . In 2002 AMW started a smaller motor factory in shanghai，JD motor factory ,which actually is a design department .one motor master who graduated from shanghai Jiaotong university and have forty years of motor working experiences joined it ,and from then on AMW begin to make rolled sheet steel Nema motors . In 2003 it begin to make micro motors and fans and established one product development department ,one sales office and one fan factory in shanghai ,although the business of this new project is smaller but very active and fruitful in developing . In 2004 ANW motors gave a new name ,BBC motors and fans co,ltd. for the factories they owned ,and by 2004 there were 900 people who taked the pride in working for shanghai bbc motors and fans co.,ltd. Now their business activities includes the design and manufacture of pump motors ,reducer ,electric magnetic brake motor ,air compressor motor ,industrial fan motors and fans ,HVAC components ,ventilators ,and furthermore they extended their business activities to control systems such as motor starting system ,fan speed controller ,timers.
