The Company was founded in December 1958. There are 12 administrative departments, 5 directly affiliated departments, 6 branch companies (manufacturer) and 4 subsidiary companies with fixed assets 316 million Yuan and more than 1,601 staff and workers among whom more than 713 technicians in different specialities. The Company possesses more than 1,000 units (pieces) of various plants and equipments with a yearly construction capability of 800km transmission lines and 8 substations in 500kV or above and 1,200km transmission lines and 15 substations in 220kV simultaneously, with a total capacity 4,200kVA. The Company has a yearly production capability of 80,000t steel towers and articles, 150,000 concrete poles and  3500t line accessories as well as 100 thousand tons of transportation capability for over-sized and heavy-loaded articles. The construction capability is up to extreme-high voltage project from extra-high voltage project and the design capability has upgraded to 220kV transmission line and substation projects
