Shanghai Far East Import and Export Co., Ltd. was incorporated in July 1993 with total registered capital of RMB 10 million. Its predecessor, Shanghai Far East Development Import and Export Co., was established with the approval of Shanghai Municipal Engineering Administration Bureau and Shanghai Municipal Foreign Economic Relation and Trade Committee.
