Harbin Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. was built originally in 1952. HAC is the foremost enterprise who manufactures air coolers in China. As one of the biggest 500 mechanical industry enterprises and one of the 100 most competitive enterprises in mechanical industry in China, HAC got ISO9001 Certificate in 1995 and the certificate of approval for enterprises with foreign trade rights in the People’s Republic of China in 1996. HAC became a listed company in 1999 in Shanghai stock exchange. In 2000, HAC got the qualification to export the large-scale complete set equipment by the export credit to the international market. In 2002, HAC got ASME Certificate. Through the effort of several decades, HAC has became the biggest manufacturing base for air cooling equipment for petrol-chemical industry and power plant and air conditioning unit for power plant and nuclear power plant in China, the designated fixed-point enterprise manufacturing large-scale complete set of air conditioning unit for nuclear power plant by China General Nuclear Industry Company. At present, direct air coolers/indirect air coolers with surface condenser and indirect air coolers with jet condenser, which are applied widely in the international market, can be designed and manufactured by HAC only. Nowadays, HAC has occupied 190 thousand square meters area, owning many branches/subsidiaries. At present, HAC has the ability to manufacture the products which are power station air cooling system unit, petrol-chemical air cooling equipment, power station/nuclear power station air conditioning unit, offered for both domestic and overseas market.
