Sanden Huayu Automotive Air-Conditioning Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “SSB”)¡¡is a joint venture invested by Huayu Automotive Systems Company Limited, Sanden Holdings Corporation and Shanghai Longhua Industry Co., Ltd. With a total investment of 168.36 million USD, SSB is China’s largest professional manufacture of automotive A/C compressors, HVAC modules, engine cooling system and components. SSB has been successively awarded many honorable titles such as “National May 1st Labor Award”, “National Advanced Enterprise with High Quality and Profit”, first “Modernized Management Enterprise in China’s Mechanical Industry”, “Advanced Enterprise in National Customer’s Satisfaction Project ”, “National Advanced Unit in Publishing Plant Affairs”, “China’s Enterprise with AAA Grade Credit in Quality and Service”, “ PR-A Grade in Performance Evaluation”, “Excellent Industrial enterprise in Shanghai ”, “Dual Excellent Foreigner-Invested Enterprise in Shanghai”, and “ Shanghai Model Unit “. It has also been elected as one of the first batch “Shanghai Model Enterprises in Intellectual Property Rights Management “and “Technology-intensive and Knowledge-intensive Enterprises”.. On the basis of introducing advanced compressor product technology and manufacturing technology from abroad, SSB pays much attention to technology digestion and absorption, and actively advocates independent innovation as well. Till now SSB has independently developed 4 categories, 20 series, more than 500 types of automotive air conditioning compressors and possessed 75 types of HVAC systems, 15 types of cooling modules and 60 types of radiators at the same time. SSB has cultivated the competence of simultaneous development and system/module integration with domestic OEMs. Our customers include main vehicle manufactures all over the domestic market: for passenger vehicles, our products are supplied to SVW, SGM, FVW, Shenlong, Dongfeng Honda, SMC, Great Wall, Volvo, etc.; and for commercial vehicles, our products are supplied to FAW, SAIC Motor-CV, BAIC Motor, NAVECO, Foton, etc. SSB has also supplied to overseas OEMs such as Russian VW and Taiwan Yulong. Our products are exported to over 30 countries and regions all over the world. As deputy chairman unit of China Automotive Air Conditioning Industry Association, SSB is actively promoting the development of China’s domestic air conditioning industry and also leading the perfection of national and industrial standards of automotive air conditioning. SSB has independently set 1 national standard and 3 industrial standards, and actively advocated the establishment of intellectual property rights system. Until now, SSB has applied for 298 national patents and 1 international patent, including 102 invention patents.
