拟议规则制定通知（NPRM）-FMCSA建议修订联邦汽车承运人安全条例（FMCSR），以增加某些车辆安全技术装置可安装在商用汽车（CMV）挡风玻璃内部的区域。此外，FMCSA建议在车辆安全技术的定义中增加项目。本建议制定规则的通知是对戴姆勒北美卡车公司（DTNA）规则制定请愿书的回应。

Notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) - FMCSA proposes to amend the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) to increase the area within which certain vehicle safety technology devices may be mounted on the interior of the commercial motor vehicle (CMV) windshields. In addition, FMCSA proposes to add items to the definition of vehicle safety technology. This NPRM responds to a rulemaking petition from Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA).
