CCCME Vice President Shi Yonghong Meets with South African Ambassador to China Siyabonga Cwele

     On March 31, 2021, CCCME Vice President Shi Yonghong met with South African Ambassador to China Siyabonga Cwele at the embassy. The two sides had full communication and reached a number of consensus on annual cooperation, promotion of economic and trade exchanges and information exchange between China and South Africa. Yusuf Timol, Economic Minister Counselor of the Embassy of South Africa in China, Gary Smith, Economic Counselor and the Vice President of International Business Department of Xinhua III Group (one of CCCME board members) and relevant representatives attended the meeting.

Vice President Shi Yonghong said that CCCME will further strengthen the contact and cooperation with the South African Embassy, establish a daily contact and communication mechanism, jointly hold project matchmaking meetings in key industries, and promote online platform Suppliers Recommended by CCCME, so as to promote the economic and trade development and the exchanges and cooperation between enterprises of China and South Africa.

Ambassador Siyabonga Cwele said that China's positive actions of focusing on innovation and accelerating the development of digitalization are well known around the world. The South African Embassy in China is willing to establish close working ties with CCCME to promote win-win development between the two countries through economic and trade cooperation.

Then, Mr. Xie Fang, Vice President of International Business Department of Xinhua III Group, introduced the establishment of overseas business center in South Africa and the development of business in Africa to the Ambassador and officials of the Embassy.
