CCCME Successfully Hosts the 2nd Carbon Neutrality International Cooperation Forum in Beijing

At present, accelerating green and low-carbon transformation and realizing green recovery and development has become a global development consensus and an obligatory mission. It is of great concern to all walks of life as for how to build a green and low-carbon technological innovation and manufacturing industry system. In order to assist manufacturing enterprises in green and low-carbon transformation and sustainable development, and to promote the mutual understanding of Chinese and foreign advantageous resources and technologies, CCCME held the 2nd Carbon Neutrality International Cooperation Forum on July 6, 2023 in Beijing. More than 20 guests, including CCCME President Zhang Yujing, Deputy General Manager Specialist of China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd. Wang Xusheng, Deputy Director of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area Administrative Committee Zheng Haitao, Director of ClimateWorks China and former Senior Policy Advisor on Climate Change and South-South Cooperation in the Office of the United Nations Secretary General Zhang Xiaohua, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Nobel Foundation for Sustainability Peter Nobel delivered speeches. More than 150 organizations and 240 guests, including members enterprises of CCCME, members of Green Low Carbon International Cooperation Committee, embassies of relevant countries in China, representatives of business associations in China and their members, financial institutions, think tanks, etc., attended the on-site activities. The forum was supported by the Administrative Committee of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area and the ClimateWorks Foundation.
