Founded in the year of 1985, Nanjing Automobile Import and Export Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “YIEC”) is a subordinate company of Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (Group) (hereinafter referred to as “SAIC”).
As a history-honored leading company in China auto industry, SAIC has been chosen by “Fortune” magazine for the 6th time as Top 500 in 2010. In the same year, the overall output and sales volume of SAIC both exceeded 3.6 million units.
YIEC is engaged on import of export of various commodities and technologies (except those restricted or prohibited by the government), specializing in international business of complete vehicle, auto parts and related machinery & electronic products. As the first domestic export or of commercial vehicles, YIEC has expanded its sales network in more than 80 countries and regions around the world and achieved an annual turnover more than USD200 million. Now, with export authorization from 15 auto manufacturers and considerable resources of spare parts with high quality, YIEC now has become SAIC’s export base of commercial vehicles.
The company has rich experience in import and global logistics. In 1996, 2001 and 2007, YIEC successfully accomplished the import of technology and facilities for Nanjing IVECO, Nanjing FIAT and MG projects respectively. YIEC is capable of providing comprehensive services on trade flow management, logistics management, fund flow management and etc.
Treating honesty and credit as the base of business, after years of efforts, YIEC has earned a good reputation in the field. After the cooperation between SAIC and NAC (Nanjing Automobile Corporation, to which YIEC belonged before), the company spares no efforts to put SAIC’s company vision into practice, treat product quality as top priority and strengthen its influence and competence in global markets.
* In 2006, the Ministry of Commerce and National Development and Reform Commission labeled YIEC as the first batch of “National Leading Exporter of Complete Vehicle”.
*In 2007, YIEC was awarded the title of “AAA Credit Level Company” by China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products.
* In 2007, YIEC passed the examination of CQC and acquired ISO9001: 2000 Certificate & International Alliance Certificate; in 2010, we passed the examination for certificate update of ISO9001-2008 Quality Management System.
*From 2003 to 2008, YIEC has been awarded, in 6 consecutive years, the title of “Level A Company of Tax Paying Credit” by Nanjing National Tax Bureau and Local Tax Bureau.
*In 2008, YIEC was honored by Nanjing Municipal Government as “Nanjing Top 10 Domestic Exporter”.
* In 2009, the company was chosen by China Chamber of Commerce for Imp. & Exp. of Machinery and Electronic Products as its council member.
