CCCME Leads Trade and Investment Delegation of Multi-Industry to Visit Los Angeles
To further promote Sino-US economic and trade cooperation under the framework of China Provinces and US California Joint Working Group, CCCME Vice President Liu Chun led a trade delegation of over 160 business executives and governmental officials to Los Angeles from May 8 to 9, 2017 and hosted a series of trade and promotion events including California-China Business Summit, Promotion Meeting of China Provinces, Seminar on Los Angeles’s Economic and Trade Overview etc. .
Such Chinese provinces as Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Hubei, Zhejiang and Guangdong etc. rendered adequate support by organizing local enterprises to participate in the summit. The summit boasted more than 400 attendees from agriculture, clean-tech, E-commerce, infrastructure, and other sectors. The Consul General of China to Los Angeles Liu Jian, the Governor of California Jerry Brown, and CCCME Vice President Liu Chun were present at the summit and delivered opening remarks.
The summit is the biggest of its kind organized by the China Provinces - California Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment Cooperation, a network established with China's Ministry of Commerce and seven provinces in 2013.
