South Africa Investment Conference 2018 Successfully Held in Johannesburg
To implement the important consensus reached between the leaders of China and South Africa and to promote China’ investment to South Africa, CCCME Vice President Liu Chun led a business delegation to visit South Africa from October 24 to 28 and to attend the South Africa Investment Conference 2018 upon the invitation of the South African government, in supporting of Commercial Counsellor Zheng Chao (Director-General level) of Ministry of Commerce of China’s working group. On the Conference, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa delivered a keynote speech, elaborating on the country’s investment-attracting policies. More than 100 representatives from 70 Chinese entities attended the event, including Alibaba, China Construction Bank, Bank of China, State Grid, Powerchina, Gezhouba Group and other key enterprises from such sectors as energy, power, environmental protection, infrastructure, e-commerce and financial etc.
