The First China-Japan Third Party Market Cooperation Forum was successfully held in Beijing

On October 26, the First China-Japan Third Party Market Cooperation Forum was successfully held in Beijing. Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended the forum and delivered speeches. Director of the Development and Reform Commission He Lifeng, Minister of Commerce Zhongshan, and Japanese Minister of Economy and Industry Hiroshige Seko attended and delivered speeches. The forum is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China, National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Foreign Affairs of Japan. It provides a platform for exchanges between the government and the people of the two countries on third-party market cooperation. More than 1500 people from the Chinese and Japanese government, economic groups and business representatives attended the forum.
In the afternoon, four parallel sub-forums of transportation logistics, energy and environmental protection, industrial upgrading and financial support, and regional development were held. Nearly 60 guests from relevant government departments and enterprises of China and Japan held discussions on the above-mentioned topics respectively, which helped to offer suggestions for promoting practical cooperation between China and Japan.
