CCCME President Zhang Yujing Meets With Xiang Weiming, the President & CEO of GE China

  On June 10, CCCME President Zhang Yujing and his delegation met with Xiang Weiming, the President & CEO of GE China in the GE Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area. Both sides exchanged views on promoting enterprises cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. CCCME Vice President Liu Chun, Chen Rongsheng, Vice President of GE China, Zhao Lin, EPC General Manager of GE China and relative personnel participated in the meeting.
         Mr. Zhang Yujing said that as a century-old multinational enterprise dedicated to localization, GE participated in and benefited from China's modernization construction. It continued to explore various practices in the field of intelligent manufacturing. Under the new circumstances, as a bridge between government and enterprises, CCCME is willing to strengthen exchanges with foreign companies in China such as GE, collect relevant issues in the electromechanical industry and specific markets in a timely manner and leverage channel advantages so as to make practical efforts to create a better business environment.
         Mr. Xiang Weiming expressed his appreciation for Mr.Zhang Yujing's cooperation proposal. He pointed out that GE has been operating in China for decades and has always been deeply engaging in the Chinese market in all aspects of the entire industrial chain, cultivating local talents, and driving research and development innovation. At present, GE mainly focuses on the four major business sectors which are aviation, medicine, power generation and renewable energy. In the future, GE will further tap the potential in the Chinese market and cooperate with Chinese partners.
