On the afternoon of March 25, 2019, CCCME Vice President Wang Guiqing received Director General Chandrajit Banerjee of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at CCCME Office.

President Wang first extended a warm welcome to the visit of Director-General and his party. He pointed out that, as the fastest-growing emerging economies in the world today, China and India have been deepening economic and trade cooperation under the guidance of a closer development partnership between the two countries. India, with its fast-growing economy, has launched international capacity cooperation for China's mechanical and electrical industries and enterprises, and the development of new markets is particularly attractive. Many of CCCME  member enterprises have already carried out international cooperation in energy, electricity, and communications. Machinery manufacturing and other key areas actively explore the Indian market. Director-General said that as CII's most important partner in China, the two sides have maintained close contact and cooperation for a long time. CII will continue to develop its extensive ties with the Indian government, state governments, industry organizations and enterprises.
