CCCME Signs a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with ACCCIM and Holds a Corporate Networking Meeting

 On the morning of April 1, 2023, in the presence of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar, CCCME President Zhang Yujing and President of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (hereinafter referred as “ACCCIM”) Tan Sri Dato‘ Low Kian Chuan signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Beijing on behalf of the two chambers. Six ministers from Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Housing and Local Government, Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Tourism, and nearly 1,000 business representatives witnessed this important moment. According to the MOU, both sides will work together to expand bilateral economic and trade ties, strengthen cooperation between the business communities of the two countries in the areas of business, trade and investment, and provide mutual support in trade missions, exhibitions, conferences and events.
On the afternoon of March 31, ACCCIM President Low Kian Chuan led a 46-member business delegation to visit CCCME. In order to strengthen the economic and trade cooperation and exchange between China and Malaysia, CCCME and ACCCIM co-hosted the “China-Malaysia Business Cooperation and Exchange Meeting”. CCCME President Zhang Yujing and ACCCIM President attended the meeting and delivered speeches. CCCME Executive Vice President Zheng Chao, CCCME Vice President Liu Chun, ACCCIM Acting President Datuk Ng Yih Pyng and other important guests. A total of more than 80 representatives from enterprises of both sides participated in this exchange activity, and Vice President Liu Chun presided over the meeting.
