-China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) is a global geophysical prospecting service provider. In 2009, CNPC deployed 188 seismic crew-times (112 2D and 76 3D crew-times) domestically and abroad. We also have 9 VSP crews, and 31 non-seismic (gravity and magnetic survey, electric survey, and geochemical exploration) crews in operation. In 2009, we acquired data on 74,392 kilometers of 2D lines, 53,525 square kilometers of 3D profiles, representing 35.1% and 8.7% drop from 2008, respectively. Both our domestic and international business declined.
