Zhoushan Xinya Shipyard Co., Ltd was founded in August 2002 and is currently the largest private corporation in the ship repairing industry in China, owning three production bases. Xinya Shipyard is located at Donglangzu, Liuheng Town, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, where is at the south bank of Shuangyu Port (Fodu Waterway). Its geographic location is 29¡ã47¡ä25¡ä¡äN and 122¡ã06¡ä50¡ä¡äE. Here is endowed with expanse and deep water space, slow tide, convenient water and land traffic, is the ideal place for various vessels to enter and exit the docks smoothly. The total investment is reaching RMB 3.2 billion, covering an area of over 900,000 m2 in all and a construction area of about 200,000 m2, and around 3,600 m of deep water coastline with 10 berths and 4 docks. The largest dock is 610m long and 90.8m wide. At present, there are over 1,200 employees and more than 3,000 subcontractor workers in Xinya Shipyard.
Xinya Shipyard has the qualifications for contracting overseas steel vessel repair projects and domestic international bidding projects, and has an annual capacity to repair over 400 vessels. Specializing in repairing various large and medium-sized vessels such as container vessels, oil tankers, bulk carriers, chemical tankers, engineering vessels and PCTC, and continuously improve the proportion of ¡°double-high vessels¡± such as LPG/LNG carriers, Xinya Shipyard has built a repair mode focusing on quality and technology, and is continuously enhancing the technical strength of high-tech and high value-added maintenance service. The ABB turbocharged maintenance, Alfa Laval, German MAN PrimeServ, Dalian Wanfang (KAWASAKI) and other professional manufacturers have been introduced to set up maintenance stations in Xinya Shipyard.
Xinya Shipyard has been accredited to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001: 2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and are subsequently awarded the titles as Enterprise with Credible Quality in China, Outstanding Enterprise of Technological Transformation during the Tenth Five-year Plan in Zhejiang Province, Excellent Enterprise with Quality Assured and Customers Satisfied in Zhejiang Province, Demonstration Unit of Energy Use in Zhejiang Province, Zhoushan Quality Award, Four Provinces and One City Quality Work Advanced Unit etc. Xinya Shipyard was identified as the first batch of advantageous ship repairing enterprises in Zhoushan City. According to the statistics of China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry, since 2006, Xinya¡¯s annual ship repairing output value and quantity, annual sales and foreign exchange income have been among the top ten national ship repairing enterprises. Since 2017, Xinya Shipyard has ranked third among ship repairing enterprises above the national scale.
