In 1994, the Municipal Government of Shenzhen signed an agreement with ST Microelectronics to establish a joint venture company in Shenzhen, China. As an investor with registered capital of 40 million US dollars, Shenzhen SEG Hi-Tech Industrial Co., Ltd. (SHIC) was founded by the municipal government for the project. During the past decade, the total asset of SHIC has been run up to 123 million US dollars. Although beginning as an investor, SHIC has expanded its business into digital video and audio fields in recent years. Equipped with technical knowledge and industrial experiences, we have developed series products of DVB receivers and portable multimedia players, as well as outsourcing digital products, such as MP3 players, digital video recorders, digital radio receivers to meet the various demands from the worldwide customers. Under the major premise of "Primary value is human beings", all members of SHIC's staff pursue the human-oriented management of concord as well as the mutual understanding with each other and the harmony with the management. We aim to develop new products that are creative in its concept and design, inspired by not what we can do now but what we want to do in the future.
