This compulsory specification covers the energy efficiency and functional performance for general lighting directional and non -directional lamps of all shapes and finishes; using incandescent, halogen, fluorescent, light emitting diode (LED), and other light source technologies (not including high- intensity discharge lamps).

Proposed date of adoption: 1 July 2021

Proposed date of entry into force: 1 July 2022; Twelve (12) months after adoption

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
