TITLE: Standards of Performance for Stationary Compression Ignition Internal Combustion Engines
AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
ACTION: Final rule
SUMMARY: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is finalizing amendments to the Standards of Performance for Stationary Compression Ignition Internal Combustion Engines. This final action revises the emission standards for particulate matter (PM) for new stationary compression ignition (CI) engines located in remote areas of Alaska.
The EPA established a docket for this rulemaking under Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OAR-2018-0851. All documents in the docket are listed in on the https://www.regulations.gov/ website. Although listed, some information is not publicly available, e.g., Confidential Business Information or other information whose disclosure is restricted by statute. Certain other material, such as copyrighted material, is not placed on the internet and are publicly available only in hard copy form. The final rule is effective on 13 November 2019.
