墨西哥官方标准草案适用于在美国制造、进口或销售的新型径向和半轴向流潜水深井电动泵。
用于泵送污水和污泥的潜水电泵不在本墨西哥官方标准草案的目标和范围内。

The notified draft Mexican Official Standard establishes the minimum energy efficiency values for new submersible deep well motor pumps for use with clean water, comprising a submersible deep well pump and a submersible three-phase electric motor, as well as the laboratory method for testing such efficiency and the conformity assessment procedure.
The notified draft Mexican Official Standard applies to new radial and semi-axial flow submersible deep well motor pumps manufactured, imported or marketed in the United Mexican States.
Submersible motor pumps for pumping sewage and sludge are excluded from the objective and scope of this draft Mexican Official Standard.
