现行标准SI 5383车辆升降机的标准要求为强制性，除了欧洲合规路线第7.4段中出现的内容。本声明符合保护人类安全的强制性标准化目标。
本标准采用欧洲标准EN1493:2010年8月和美国标准ANSI/ALCTV:2017，并允许符合其中任何一个标准。标准的希伯来语部分包括以下内容：

The requirements of the existing standard, SI 5383, dealing with vehicle lifts, shall be declared mandatory, except for the national deviation appears in paragraph 7.4 of the European route of compliance. This declaration is in line with the mandatory standardization objective to protect human safety.
This standard adopts both the European Standard EN 1493: August 2010 and the American Standard ANSI/ALCTV: 2017 and allows for compliance with either. The standard's Hebrew section includes the following national deviations:
A. In the European route of compliance:
Changes the normative references (paragraph 2);
Adds to paragraph 7 dealing with 'Information for use' new requirements for Hebrew instructions and labeling.
B. In the American route of compliance:
